Local Riding
|
Group Rides Oswald Cycle Works has semi-regular group rides leaving from the bike shop at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Call ahead to confirm. Check out Twisted Spokes or email Tom for more information on group rides. During the winter months Oswald Cycle Works hosts indoor group trainer rides. We supply the heat, floor space and videos. You bring your bike, trainer and a towel. After a good sweaty hour or so, we'll repair to the local cafe for coffee and pastry.

Local Bike Clubs The Ridge Riders Bicycle Club is a great bunch of guys and gals with a focus on trail building and maintenance, new rider recruiting, and recreational riding. Spokes is the original bicycle un-club of Tioga County, PA. They
tend toward binges of intense riding and racing tempered with equal
measures of beer drinking and bull sessions. Their site has a message
board, ride schedules, maps and directions for local rides, and more.
If Twisted Spokes were organized enough to have a motto it would probably
be "No beer gets left behind." |
